I need my site completed in a rush, can you place me on top of your work List?
I’m very sorry, but I do not work on a rush basis or move clients in front of others who have been patiently awaiting their turn.
I don’t know how to use a blog, can you teach me?
While I would love to teach you how to use your blog, I simply do not have the time and this is not part of my services. You should have a working knowledge of how to use your blog BEFORE you contact me for your project. Both Blogger and WordPress have great help documentation and tutorials.

My blog will be set to private and be for invited readers only after you design it, is that ok?
No, each blog or website I design will be placed in my portfolio with a screenshot and a link to the site. This is in my Terms and Conditions and applies to all designs I create. When you hire me to design your site or blog, this is part of the agreement and contract, so your blog or site may not be set to private, sorry.
I can’t find your phone number, how can I get in touch with you?
I prefer to communicate via email. This allows me to keep a complete and accurate record of the correspondence between me and the client or the potential client. I work from my home, so this also protects the privacy and safety of my family. There may be times that it be imperative to have a phone conversation, I will consider this if the time arises.
What forms of payment do you accept and what is your payment policy?
At this time I only accept payment through Paypal. You do not need to have an account with Paypal, you only need to use their services to make the payment through their safe and secure servers. You may use all major credit cards. Please visit Paypal for more information. Once I invoice you either for the deposit or for full payment, please pay your invoice within 48 hours. I will not start or finish a project until payment has been made.
I am a return customer, do I get a discount?
Yes, of course! All clients who have purchased a Custom Blogger, Custom WordPress, Custom Website or Custom Boutique will receive a discount on their next custom purchase. Please contact me for information.
How much will my site cost?
It depends on what kind of site you want and how large it will be. Please see the appropriate service page for the type of project you have, all prices are listed. If you still have pricing questions after reading through my pages, please contact me, I will be happy to help you.
Will I have any additional costs?
There should not be any extra costs unless you change the package you want, have any upgrades that aren’t included in the package you chose, or you dramatically change the design after I have begun working on it. After your site is completed, you will have 4 weeks of free customer service. The only other costs you should have after that are your yearly hosting and domain name fees or if you need site maintenance and updates at a later date.
Do you design WordPress Blogs?
Yes, I am now working with the self-hosted WordPress Platform powered by the SEO-friendly Genesis Framework by Studio Press.
What is responsive design?
In a nutshell, responsive design means that the layout of a website or blog will automatically adjust in screensize to whatever device the vistor of a website or blog is using: computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, etc.
Do you create responsive sites?
Yes! I offer Mobile Responsive Design for both the Custom WordPress Blog and Website Design packages and the Custom Blogger packages.
I would like to have a blog on my own website, is that possible?
Yes! Through Blogger you can purchase your own domain name for about $10 per year and Blogger will host all your content free. Through WordPress, you will have to purchase your domain AND a web host. You can read all about this on my Getting Started page.
Do you create the graphics you use?
I do create some of the graphics that I use. These are simple backgrounds and design elements. I am happy to support graphic artists who allow commercial use by purchasing a membership to their site, to which I have several, or by purchasing their commercial use items.
Please see my Resources page for a list of commercial use Graphic Designers I am happy to feature and use in my designs.
Will you create me a site with an image I found doing a Google search?
No, sorry I will not. I can not and will not ever right click and save an image to use in site design, that is copyright infringement on the original artist. I am a copyright-compliant designer.
Please see my Resources page for a list of commercial use Graphic Designers I am happy to feature and use in my designs.
Will you create me a site using an artist from one of the artist licensing companies?
No, sorry I will not. It is against Terms of Use to use any artist images for profit, they are for non-profit, personal use only. As far as I know, you can not purchase a “Commercial License” to use them for profit. I will not create any site with any of these artists work. I am a copyright-compliant designer.
Please see my Resources page for a list of commercial use Graphic Designers I am happy to feature and use in my designs.
Can you use digital scrapbooking supplies to create me a site?
Yes, there are several digital shops and digital designers that allow commercial usage with the purchase of a one-time commercial use license or by purchasing commercial use products. If you have or know of a scrap kit that you would like for me to use on your site, please contact the designer and obtain permission for your web/blog designer to use it in your site design, please keep the permission because I will need to see it.
Please see my Resources page for a list of commercial use Graphic Designers I am happy to feature and use in my designs.
I have my own logo, will you use it?
While I don’t necessarily have a problem with this, there are 2 items to take into account on whether I CAN or WILL use it:
- Permission/Copyright: You must have permission from the original designer of the logo to send it to me for use in a new design/website. I take copyright infringement seriously.
- Logo Quality: I have just as much of a stake in your site as you do, so for that reason, the logo needs to be of the highest quality with a transparent background in order for me to use it. If the logo is not of good quality, you will need to have it remade or I can try to re-create it for an additional fee. I hope you can understand where I am coming from and respect my work as I respect yours.

I always work hard to make sure this does not happen. I will keep you informed about every detail and get your approval as we go along. If for some reason you are still not happy BEFORE your site has been uploaded to your web host, we can terminate our agreement and the design will not be installed on your site. However, absolutely no refund can be issued because work has already been done and approvals have been made as we have gone along. Also, absolutely no refund can be issued AFTER a design has been installed on your site. Very important, please see the next answer.
