UPDATE on this issue here.
If you are reading this and one of my Blogspot Design clients, you will more than likely have this very inconvenient problem. I have always instructed my clients to open a FREE Photobucket account to store their blog images. Photobucket has been allowing free users to host and link to images (also known as hotlinking) on its servers since 2003. This service has been extremely useful for each of my Blogspot clients for a very long time. However…..
As of the end of June beginning of July 2017, Photobucket changed their Terms of Usage and Membership structure. Being a FREE Photobucket user is over and now any of my clients using Photobucket for image storage will now see a horrible blog with the above image scrawled all over it in place of each image! If you visit the link on these images, you will see that Photobucket is now requiring you to upgrade to their Plus 500 Plan in order to continue to use their service and that plus plan is $399 per year, even though they actually do have other plans to choose from. This information is very hard to find on their website, so most people in panic mode because their blogs look horrible are going ahead and purchasing the largest plan… not necessary.. and in fact, you DO NOT have to pay for this service at all!!!
Now, I could tell you how to do it, I’d have to write up a tutorial with lots of screenshots and even then, I couldn’t guarantee that you wouldn’t break your blog because all of these images are coded within the template. And I do not want to be responsible for that. So instead, if you are one of my past blogspot clients and need help, I will fix these image issues for the small fee of $20 usd. If you are NOT one of my past clients but have access to all of your blog images, I can also help you for the same fee. If you are NOT one of my clients and do not have access to your blog images, I can not help you, sorry.
Please contact me if you need help with your Blogspot blog images!
