A New Design Coming for The Posh Box

I thought it was time for a design update for my own website The Posh Box. I had been thinking about it during 2020 when I had A LOT of time on my hands, and it’s been since 2015 that I did a complete re-design, so it’s time.

First I got some advice from someone very near and dear to me that said: “you use pink a lot, maybe use a different color? And maybe don’t use flowers?” I think my brain exploded. But in any case, I started doing some research and testing different colors, different color combos, and looking for high-quality image options in colors that might be different from what I have now that didn’t include flowers.

It’s been a very long 2020 and months and months of research. Guess what I learned? I tend to lean towards pink and flowers. Every time I thought I’d found just the right colors or images for my site it was in a pink color palette and the images I loved included flowers.

So, I’m going with a very toned down pink color, maybe even peach depending on your monitor settings and I’m sticking with flowers. I LOVE PINK and I LOVE FLOWERS. Sorry my love, I just can’t take pink and flowers out of my life!

You can see a tidbit of the changes I am making by the before and after (a mockup which may or may not exactly be the final design) images below. I think I’m really going to like this change…for now!

While the overall design, logo, and layout will be different, I am still offering the same services and the same design packages. I am just updating and making my website fresh again and toning down the pink ? Oh, and I will be adding more services in the near future. So more changes will be coming after this one.

Starting Wednesday, August 4th, I will be placing my website in maintenance mode for about 2 weeks. I should be back on August 23rd if not sooner!
